Last day of school

Thomas has had such a busy term at school, he fell into bed tonight and we found him asleep at 6.45pm!
He loves his encyclopedia that he got for his 5th birthday and has spent the last few weeks teaching himself (and us) about the planets, volcanoes and human skeleton. These are the topics that have taken his fancy, so far; and we are having to give him more and more to satiate his thirst for knowledge. We don't mind a bit!
By the way, his favourite planet is Venus (because of all the volcanoes), he is learning about tectonic plates and his favourite part of the skeleton is the skull "because it protects my brain".
Gotta love it all! Hope you are swotting up Nannan, Morfar and Uncle Carl because Thomas has some doosy questions for you!

Thomas the other day when I played bowls all day in the rain, hail and hot sunshine at the Masterton tournament, had a few beers and got home around 6 pm I was very sleepy too. I bet I can snore louder than you!

My skull is there to prevent other people stealing my very valuable, first call brain. It also helps to keep my hair from clogging up my brain.

See you very soon, Love from Morfar and Picasso the big, fat, old cat.

Don't worry Tommy Gun there is no question i don't have an answer for, some of them just shouldn't be repeated.
